Halfback Teddy Wilson and loosehead prop Tom Lambert are the two uncapped players in the 33-man Wallabies squad for four November Tests in the UK, Rugby Australia announced on Friday 23 October.
Neither has played a Test. Coach Les Kiss named the squad, and Harry Wilson is captain, according to Rugby Australia’s squad list.
The tour takes in Tests against England, Scotland and Wales, then the Nations Championship Finals weekend in London.

The Bolters
Teddy Wilson is 23 and a former Australia Under-20s captain. This is his first Wallabies squad, according to Rugby Australia.
The surname is a familiar one. His father, David Wilson, earned 79 caps and played in the 1999 side that won the World Cup in Cardiff.
Teddy Wilson replaces Kalani Thomas as the third No.9 in the squad, behind Ryan Lonergan and Tate McDermott, Nine reported. That gives the squad three No.9s.
Lambert is 25, according to Nine. Rugby Australia said his selection rewarded his form with the NSW Waratahs in Super Rugby Pacific and Super Rugby AUS.
His next move is already settled. He has signed with the Queensland Reds for 2027 and 2028, according to Nine.
The Recalls
Five players return. The Tests fall inside World Rugby’s Regulation Nine window, and overseas-based forwards Taniela Tupou and Tom Hooper are recalled, Rugby Australia said.
Hunter Paisami is recalled as well, after serving a suspension for a high tackle in the win over South Africa in Perth.
Flyhalf Carter Gordon is recalled as he recovers from a fractured fibula sustained in Argentina. Lock Miles Amatosero is back from injury.
The squad may yet grow. Rugby Australia said more players may be confirmed after the Australia A match against the USA. That match is separate from the four November Tests.
The Coach
Kiss spoke about the size of the task in Rugby Australia’s announcement.
“There’s a real buzz among the squad as we prepare for what will be four incredibly demanding matches against high-quality opposition as part of the November Nations Championship Tests.”
Those four are the Tests against England, Scotland and Wales and the finals weekend in London.
He was just as direct about selection and depth.
“As coaches, we’ve made some tough selection calls to keep building depth across the board and we know a tour like this will challenge the whole squad on many levels.”
Recent Form
The Wallabies’ last two Tests were both losses to New Zealand, according to Rugby Australia’s results list.
They lost 50-19 at Eden Park on 10 October and 43-21 in Sydney on 17 October. Kiss named the squad after those two defeats.
Twickenham First
England are first, at Twickenham, at 2:10am AEDT on Monday 9 November.
Scotland follow at Murrayfield, also at 2:10am AEDT, on Monday 16 November.
Wales host the Wallabies at Principality Stadium, Cardiff, at 7:10am AEDT on Sunday 22 November.
The Nations Championship Finals weekend in London follows, from 27 November, Rugby Australia said. Times are AEDT, as Rugby Australia listed them.
Teddy Wilson and Tom Lambert go into that run as the squad’s two uncapped players, with Taniela Tupou, Tom Hooper, Hunter Paisami, Carter Gordon and Miles Amatosero recalled alongside them.
